5km Santa Run
On Sunday 7th December 10 jolly Africa Now supporters joined 1,000 other Santas for a 5km Santa Run around Greenwich Park, London, to raise money for Africa Now.
The frost did not deter these Santas as they set out spreading festive spirit and raising valuable funds for Africa Now. 1,000 Santas warmed up for the event with star jumps, instructed by a man in army uniform - a memorable sight! The Africa Now team celebrated completing the wintery 5km with home made mulled wine and mince pies.
The Santas hope to raise over £1,000 through sponsorship money from this event. Money raised will go towards our award winning programmes in Africa, supporting small-scale producers to trade their way out of poverty. Go team!
