Parachute Jump Day

Simply exhilerating! Africa Now are organising a parachute jump day, on Saturday 28th February 2009, at Bicester airfield in Oxfordshire. Bicester airfield is in Weston-on-the-Green, a few miles from junction 9 off the M40.

The day

We are looking for brave people with a sense of adventure to do a 10,000 ft tandem parachute jump in aid of Africa Now. Tandem parachute jumps are done with an instructor, and can be completed with training in one day.

What better way to get adrenaline pumping round your body this winter? The wind will rush past your ears as you freefall for the first 5,000 ft. You'll then calmly glide to the ground as the canopy opens. An experience of a lifetime!

Fancy getting involved?

All you need to do is raise £395 sponsorship and you'll be able to jump for FREE and raise money for Africa Now at the same time.

February might sound like a long way away, but places are going quickly. If you are interested e-mail Laura or call 01865 403265 for an application form.
