A gift of...
£15 could support a Village Bank and provide rural African women with a chance to take control of their savings, and their futures. Read more.
£25 could pay for the vets' bills for 8 farmers' livestock for a whole year. Read more.
£50 could give a school leaver a way out of poverty and the chance of running a profitable business by building water tanks and latrines for schools and villages. Read more.
£75 could provide a farmer with a Walking Bank: a goat, giving his family a sustainable income and a constant source of nutrition. Read more.
Regular Giving
By making a gift of £5 per month by standing order, a local African artisan could be trained in how to build a water pump from recycled goods. Your donation could not only provide safe drinking water for hundreds of families, but also lay the foundations for a successful local business.
The regular income Africa Now receives from standing orders allows us to develop new ideas and plan our work more effectively. There are different ways to give regularily, making it easier for you to show your dedicated support.

Payroll Giving
Does your company offer a payroll giving scheme? Payroll Giving is an easy, tax-effective way to give. It enables you to give to Africa Now straight from your salary before tax is deducted, giving immediate tax relief on those donations. If you donate £10 each month it would cost you only £8, therefore costing you LESS to give MORE.

Gift Aid
Make your donations go even further without spending an extra penny!
Gift Aid is a great way to stretch the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. If you pay capital gains tax and/or income tax on your salary, pension or even your saving equal to 25% of your donation then Africa Now can claim Gift Aid. All you have to do is sign and date a Gift Aid declaration – it’s as simple as that!
Gift Aid is currently at 25p per £1 with an additional 3p per £1 in transitional relief. So, if you donate £15 to Africa Now, we’ll receive an additional £3.75 from the tax man!
